Interfax Global Energy held a seminar with the consulting and training firm MJM Energy on Wednesday to discuss the outlook for FSRUs in the LNG market. 

There are 27 FSRUs deployed globally, of which three are on charter but not operating and three are acting temporarily as conventional LNG carriers. Of the 21 vessels operating as FSRUs, four are in South America; four are in Europe and Turkey; seven are in the Middle East and North Africa; and six are in Asia, including South Asia. Four FSUs...
