China National Petroleum Corp.’s (CNPC’s) Changqing Oilfield subsidiary has produced 360 billion cubic metres of gas since 1997, CNPC said on Tuesday.

The subsidiary operates 12 gas fields that produced 36.9 bcm in 2017. It operates the Changbei and South Sulige tight gas fields in partnership with Shell and Total respectively.

Changbei produced 3 bcm last year, while South Sulige produced 2 bcm.
