Italy’s Snam has signed a memorandum of understanding on CNG as a vehicle fuel with Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) and Turin-based industrial vehicle manufacturer IVECO.

“FCA, IVECO and Snam – will actively cooperate to boost the further development of methane for vehicle usage in the form of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), an immediately available and more sustainable alternative to traditional fuels,” Snam said in a statement after the agreement was signed on Wednesday.
