North African piped gas flows saw a significant decline of 35% year on year and 22.6% month on month in January 2020. Total flows amounted to 2.4 billion cubic metres, the lowest figure seen in the last five years. Volumes include all flows to Spain through the Maghreb-Europe and Medgaz pipelines, and all flows to Italy through the Trans-Mediterranean and GreenStream pipelines.
