The key issue: Brazil and Argentina last week revealed there is political will to build a pipeline linking the countries’ gas networks.

Interfax analysis: Argentina and Brazil revived proposals to integrate their gas networks during the World Economic Forum in Davos last week. The plan could open a sizeable market for the Vaca Muerta shale, but Argentina still needs to up its gas transport capacity.

"A gas pipeline to connect the Argentine pipeline network with the south of Brazil could be a very interesting market...
