The average price of LNG produced in China in December fell to RMB 3,901 ($10.8/MMBtu), the lowest level for the final month of the year since 2016. Last month’s average was down by 11.9% from November, marking the biggest monthly drop since January 2019. Some 71 plants in Inner Mongolia, Hebei, Shanxi, Henan, Shandong, Chongqing, Sichuan, Shaanxi, Gansu, Ningxia and Xinjiang cut asking prices by an average of 14.8% from November to December.
