South Korea’s imports of LNG from the United States surged by 195.5% last month compared with the previous month and by 56.6% on an annual basis, to reach 0.81 mt. This made the US the biggest supplier to Korea for November. US exports to Korea also increased by 7.3% over the first 11 months of 2019 compared with the same period in 2018, keeping the country among Korea’s three-largest LNG suppliers.
