LNG accounted for around 60% of gas imports to the UK in September compared with less than 4% in the previous month, data from the UK’s Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy released on 28 November shows. The rise was partly to compensate for a decline in Norwegian pipeline flows resulting from maintenance work.
