The key issue: Representatives from the Polish- and Romanian-led Three Seas Investment Fund held a meeting on 27 November to outline priorities for financing gas infrastructure in Central and Eastern Europe.

Interfax analysis: EU member states in Central and Eastern Europe are increasingly looking for regional private funding to develop gas infrastructure, as funds for fossil fuels are likely to shrink in the bloc’s upcoming budget for 2021-2027.
