China's southernmost province of Hainan – home to around 9 million people – is phasing out coal, a move that will probably benefit gas.
In last week’s issue of Natural Gas Insight, our China specialist Tang Tian analysed how an increased call on gas-fired power generation will be a boon for China National Offshore Oil Corp. and its under-utilised Hainan LNG terminal.
