North African pipeline exports to Europe, Week 40

North African gas flows to Europe rose by 6.3% on a weekly basis in Week 40, to 485.8 million cubic metres (MMcm), driven by increased flows on the two pipelines to Spain. However, total exports were down by 35.4% on an annual basis.

Spanish imports rose sharply last week. Gas flows through the Maghreb-Europe pipeline reached 121.4 MMcm, up by 17.4% week on week and 29.7% year on year. Meanwhile imports via the Medgaz pipeline...
