One-hundred of the 182 plants in China that sell LNG downstream were online last week. Their daily output climbed to 42,973 tons per day as facilities ramped up production ahead of the National Day public holiday, which runs from 1-8 October. Average utilisation surged to 54%, the highest level since June 2014. Output in Shaanxi, Ningxia, Xinjiang, Sichuan and Hebei provinces increased by an average of 30.70% week on week, while output in Shanxi decreased by 8.89%.
