The attacks on Saudi Arabian oil facilities on 14 September drove Asian spot LNG prices up by 28% last week from the previous week, the biggest weekly gain since at least October 2013.

End-user LNG prices in Tianjin, Anhui, Shanghai, Fujian, Jiangxi and Guangdong fell by an average of 1.32% last week from the previous week after PetroChina’s Jiangsu LNG terminal and LNG plants in the northwestern and southwestern China lowered their ex-works prices.
