The key issue: Nigeria LNG has signed a letter of intent for the EPC contract for its Bonny Island Train 7 project as it prepares for a mooted 31 October FID.

Interfax analysis: The announcement last week that a Saipem-led consortium will build the seventh train at Nigeria LNG’s (NLNG’s) Bonny Island plant means the Nigerian company’s attention has turned to securing funding for the $10 billion project ahead of its 31 October FID deadline.
