Malaysia’s LNG exports were up in Q1 2019 by 7% on an annual basis and 2% compared with Q1 2017. The country’s exports hit at an all-time high in 2017 as a whole, with volumes exceeding 27 mt, while in 2018 they hit a multi-year low because of a technical problem with one of the pipelines supplying the Bintulu liquefaction plant.
