The combined LNG exports of Malaysia, Indonesia and Brunei fell by 8% year on year in 2018, according to data from their respective economics and statistics departments. Malaysia saw the largest fall, at 10%, which has been attributed largely to technical issues with the pipeline connecting its gas fields to the LNG export facility in Bintulu.
