Serbia’s New Transmission Gas Pipeline (NTGP) is being built by Serbian transmission system operator Gastrans, which is a joint venture of Gazprom and state-owned Srbijagas.
Srbijagas imports Russian gas via Yugorosgaz, a Gazprom subsidiary (Gazprom 75%, Srbijagas 25%), under a 2 bcm/y long-term contract set to expire in 2021. Serbia’s only gas producer, Naftna Industrija Srbije (NIS), injected 399 MMcm into the country’s gas system in 2016.
