Golar’s profits boosted by West African activity

Golar LNG has increased its Q3 profits by 82% this year, to $66.2 million, the company has announced.

Golar said its revenues were boosted by the recovery of $26 million from the failed contract for the Golar Tundra FSRU, which was moored off the coast of Ghana for 15 months without being used. Meanwhile, the company’s Hilli Episeyo FLNG vessel, also moored off Ghana, has delivered its 10th cargo and Golar is in talks with Perenco to make use of the ship’s spare...
