Gas production in Latin America

Latin American gas production has faltered after nearly a decade of growth, principally because of a recent slump in output in Mexico and Trinidad & Tobago. Production fell by 1.2% year on year in 2017 in South and Central America plus Mexico, according to the 2018 edition of BP’s Statistical Review of World Energy. Output increased by nearly 11% between 2007 and 2014.
