Argentina appears to have switched from Bolivian pipeline imports to LNG to meet its gas demand during the cooler autumn months.
Argentina’s Bolivian imports fell to below 20 million cubic metres per day (MMcm/d) in early May, according to data from state agency Enarsa. This is around 1 MMcm/d lower than the minimum contracted volumes for the period between 1 April and 30 September 2018.
