Kosmos Energy and supermajor BP are gearing up for an FID on the Greater Tortue gas development in 2018. But doubts remain over who will build the FLNG vessel.

Tracey K. Henderson, Kosmos’s vice president of exploration, business execution and geophysics, told Interfax Natural Gas Daily the partners have not decided if the vessel will be a newbuild or a conversion.
