International trading houses are lining up to import and deliver LNG through Egypt’s third FSRU.

Tamer Abu Bakr, head of the Federation of Egyptian Industries’ energy division and chair of several gas services companies, told Interfax Natural Gas Daily that a mix of domestic and international players have submitted bids to secure import rights. All the bidders are interested in delivering an end-to-end LNG supply service to high-paying private customers, he added.
