Plans to expand gas deliveries in New England’s six states have resulted in disputes between energy companies and environmentalists. Lawyers representing a pipeline company, manufacturers and two organised labour groups have accused environmental campaigners of abandoning their early support for and trying to block gas pipeline projects, local newspaper the Boston Herald reported on Wednesday.
