Malcolm Turnbull is out and Scott Morrison is in as Australia’s new prime minister. Morrison is the fifth prime minister Australia has had since 2010. Furthermore, a byelection is now looming after Turnbull resigned as an MP following his loss in the leadership contest. As Morrison’s Liberal-National Party coalition has just 75 out of the 149 seats in the House of Representatives, the loss of the seat would threaten Morrison’s majority.
