The MEA’s LNG exports are set to increase further as several plants resume normal operations following maintenance.

Maintenance in Nigeria and Angola disrupted LNG exports from both countries in June and July. LNG flows stabilised in August after the two countries ramped up exports. Meanwhile, Algeria’s LNG exports declined sharply in July because of pipeline maintenance at Hassi R’Mel. Algerian exports recovered in August from the lows seen during the previous month and have continued to recover in September.
