Spot LNG prices in Northeast Asia are expected to see further declines after falling from an average of around $9/MMBtu in January to roughly $7.5/MMBtu in February. Increases in Australian output will be sufficient to meet increasing import requirements.
European month-ahead prices have seen seasonal support in February but are expected to come under pressure over the coming weeks. The NBP month-ahead was around 50 p/th by mid-February and looks likely to fall to an average of around 48 p/th in March.
