Australia’s Wheatstone LNG project is set to start operations by early September, supporting further growth in LNG exports from the country ahead of the northern hemisphere winter.

The Chevron-led Wheatstone LNG plant is on course to start operations in August/September. This will see flows from Train 1 begin to supply the market in the coming weeks and ramp up over the northern hemisphere winter.
