Latin American LNG demand will come under pressure in 2019 following the departure of one of Argentina’s two FSRUs.

The Excelerate Exemplar, which was moored at the port of Bahia Blanca and was the first FSRU installed in Latin America, left Argentina on 29 October. The lease for the Exemplar expired at the end of October, and Buenos Aires decided not to renew it.
