The 2017 Atlantic hurricane season is likely to cause further disruptions to LNG trade in the Americas.

The risk of hurricanes will remain a concern for LNG traders in the region until the season ends. This includes exporters such as the US and Trinidad, as well as importers such as Mexico, Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic.
