Healthy outlook for United States sees debate shift to fuel-switching

 

The United States is enjoying historically healthy energy security, said panellists at the Centre for Strategic and International Studies’ Global Security Forum in Washington, DC on Wednesday. Even as domestic oil production is supplying a greater share of US demand for petroleum products, a glut of cheap gas could lead to its expanded use in transport.
