Brazil scraps 10 GW of gas-fired power amid lack of supply

 

Brazil will scrap a tender for 10.3 gigawatts of gas-to-power capacity because there is no available gas supply until 2015 and as a result of falling energy demand, the head of the government’s energy planning agency told Interfax.
