Asian premium to US could be eroded by 60% by 2020, says analyst
The wide discount of United States LNG prices compared to those in Asia could narrow by as much as 60% by 2020 as the country becomes an exporter of the fuel, an energy consultant told the La Jolla Energy Conference on Monday. However, Latin America is like to remain an attractive destination for North American LNG cargoes, said analysts at the conference.
