RWE reveals rise in earnings but jobs cuts and challenges ahead

 

RWE posted its first-half financial results for 2012 on Tuesday, announcing a 9% rise in earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation year-on-year but falling well below the dramatic increase in earnings posted by German rival E.On on Monday.
