Santos is overhauling the management of its $18.5 billion Gladstone LNG (GLNG) project in Queensland, in response to a drop in investor confidence after the operator increased its near-term budget for the development, The Australian Financial Review reported on Tuesday. The company named Trevor Brown, the former head of exploration and sub-surface engineering for Santos, as vice-president of its Queensland operations on Monday. Brown will, in particular, be charged with delivering the upstream gas supply part of GLNG.
