Queensland’s LNG to sap growth in gas-fired power generation

 

Uncertainty over the carbon tax policy and rising prices because of planned LNG projects mean the future role of gas in Australian power generation is by no means assured, according to a joint study by Standard & Poor’s and carbon and clean energy analytics firm RepuTex.
