Indonesia’s Nusantara Regas has received a $100 million loan from Bank Mandiri for the development of its LNG floating regasification and storage unit at Jakarta Bay, The Jakarta Globe reported on Wednesday. The terminal is expected to begin operating in August, after which it would mostly supply two gas-fired power plants in North Java.

Energy World investing in LNG terminal in the Philippines

Hong Kong’s Energy World is investing around $210 million to set up an LNG regasification terminal in the Philippines, the Philippine Daily Inquirer reported on Thursday. The terminal, located on Pagbilao Grande Island, Quezon, would begin with one 130 Mcm LNG storage tank and would later be expanded to have a second.
