Consortium to develop LNG-to-power project in Ghana

General Electric, Africa-focused power developer Endeavor Energy and Paris-based holding company Finagestion have signed an agreement to jointly develop and implement a 1.1 GW LNG-to-power project in western Ghana.

The ‘Ghana 1000 Project’ will involve importing and regasifying LNG via a dedicated FSRU, the development of infrastructure to pipe the gas onshore, and the construction of new power plants.
