Russian state-controlled oil major Rosneft is considering shipping LNG to Murmansk, in Russia’s north, as part of plans to gasify the region.

Rosneft Vice President Vlada Rusakova said at the Murmansk Business Week conference on Monday that the company had proposed regular LNG shipments at a working group of the regional government.
