Oman fails to source additional gas from Qatar

Qatar’s Dolphin Energy will not supply additional natural gas to Oman via the Dolphin pipeline, Mohammed bin Hamad Al Rumhy, Oman’s minister of oil and gas, told reporters in Muscat on Thursday.

“There is no plan [at the moment]. We are working very hard to find new sources of gas,” Times of Oman quotes Al Rumhy as saying. “We are meeting all our demands right now. What is the future plan for meeting the additional demand…I really have no idea,” he said.
