Dutch shipper orders pair of LNG-fuelled tankers

A pair of new LEG/LPG tankers are to be fitted out with LNG-fuelled engines in a bid to comply with upcoming EU emissions legislation.

A pair of new liquified ethylene gas/LPG tankers are to be fitted out with LNG-fuelled engines in a bid to comply with upcoming EU emissions legislation.

The tankers, which are being built for specialist gas shipping firm Anthony Veder, are due to be delivered mid-2014 and will operate in the North Sea area.
