Qatar’s market share of European LNG imports increased from 39% in Q2 2018 to 43% in Q3 2018, the European Commission said in its latest quarterly gas report, published last week.
Nigeria was in second place, with a 17% market share, primarily as a result of its exports to Portugal and France.
Belgium, Poland, Italy and the UK imported more than 80% of their LNG supplies from Qatar, the commission noted. The commission
