The average ex-works price of LNG produced in China fell to RMB 4,220 per ton ($12.82/MMBtu) last week, the lowest level for nearly four months. Last week’s price was down by 14.95% week on week, which was the biggest drop since March 2018. Soft industrial demand before this week’s Lunar New Year holiday prompted 44 plants in Inner Mongolia, Jilin, Shanxi, Shaanxi, Ningxia, Henan, Hebei, Sichuan, Yunnan, Guizhou, Shandong and Chongqing to cut their asking prices by an...
