The average ex-works price for LNG from Chinese producers fell by 7.2% last week from the previous week, to a six-week low of RMB 4,962 per ton ($14.2/MMBtu). Industrial activity has weakened ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday, when factory workers traditionally return to their hometowns. As a result, 43 plants in Inner Mongolia, Hebei, Shanxi, Shandong, Henan, Ningxia, Shaanxi, Xinjiang, Guizhou, Sichuan, Yunnan and Chongqing cut their listed prices by an average of 9.98%...
