South Korea imported 3.95 mt of LNG in November 2018, an increase of nearly 20% on an annual basis. This brought imports for the first 11 months of the year to 39.4 mt, just short of the record high of 39.9 mt received in 2013. Imports are likely to have been around 4 mt in December, bringing imports for 2018 to around 43 mt. November represented the 10th consecutive month of year-on-year import growth.
