The average ex-works price for LNG from Chinese wholesalers edged up by 1.4% last week from the previous week, to RMB 5,275 per ton ($14.81/MMBtu). Nine plants in Hebei, Heilongjiang, Inner Mongolia, Ningxia and Sichuan increased their asking prices by an average of 1.46%.
Rates for transporting LNG via diesel- and LNG-fuelled trucks ranged from RMB 0.70-1.50/km/t for deliveries within 500 km to RMB 0.55-0.80/km/t for beyond 500 km.
