Bangladesh’s state-run Petrobangla will not make full use of its first LNG terminal for a few more weeks after Qatari supplier RasGas turned down its belated request for more cargoes, Bangladeshi newspaper Financial Express reported on Tuesday.
Petrobangla sought two additional LNG cargoes from RasGas after a 30 km pipeline serving the terminal came online on 27 November, but the Qatari company declined.
