The average ex-works price of LNG from Chinese wholesalers increased by 15.3% last week from the previous week, to RMB 4,798 per ton ($13.43/MMBtu) – the highest level since mid-February. Growing heating-related demand prompted 58 plants in Chongqing, Yunnan, Sichuan, Guizhou, Xinjiang, Shaanxi, Ningxia, Hubei, Henan, Shandong, Shanxi, Heilongjiang and Inner Mongolia to raise their prices by 15.9%.
