China National Offshore Oil Corp. (CNOOC) has signed strategic cooperation agreements with nine foreign companies to develop acreage off the coast of southern China, CNOOC’s listed subsidiary said on Tuesday.

The agreements were signed with Chevron, ConocoPhillips, Equinor, Canada’s Husky Energy, Kuwait Foreign Petroleum Exploration Co., Roc Oil, Shell, South Korea’s SK Innovation and France’s Total.
