BP has signed an agreement with Angola’s state petroleum company Sonangol that will allow it to make FIDs on several offshore blocks in the country.
The deal paves the way for the development of the Platina field in deepwater Block 18 and an extension to the BP-operated Greater Plutonio project in the same concession to 2032.
