South Korea has seen a major increase in its LNG imports this year, with October being the ninth month in a row of year-on-year growth. October’s imports were up by 38% on an annual basis, to 3.8 mt. Imports stand at 35 mt for the year so far, which is an increase of nearly 18% compared with the same period in 2017.
